Used Artley 18-0
The Artley Flute Company began in the 1930’s in Elkhart, Indiana, the major hub of musical instrument production in America at the time. They specialised in flutes and piccolos, only beginning to produce other woodwinds in the 1960’s. Artley was infamous for manufacturing student-quality woodwind instruments at affordable prices, making them popular with school band programs across the country. This 18-0 is a closed-hole student flute from 1982. It has a silver-plated body and head joint, with only minimal scratches on the body and lip plate, and some very minor dents in the head joint. This is a very durable and reliable instrument for a student, with easy playability and great key action. It has been reviewed and worked on by our in-house technician to ensure that it is in playing condition. This is an excellent deal for anyone looking to buy an affordable beginner instrument. It also comes with its own hard case.
