Used Gibson 1941 ES-150 Hollow Body Electric Guitar
This is a 1941 Gisbon ES-150 hollow body electric guitar. 16 1/4″ wide body, maple construction with a spruce top, mahogany neck, and what is most likely a Brazillian rosewood fingerboard. This guitar is DEFINITELY player grade, but it does play well for being almost 80 years old. Finish checking covers the body, play wear through the finish, a small section of binding is missing on the back of the body, but no neck cracks or repairs. This guitar is not 100% original but luckily the most important part – the pickup – is. It is an original P13 with adjustable pole pieces and is actually the first Gibson pickup to utilize AlNiCo magnets. The guitar comes with 5 of the original kluson tuners but have been swapped out for Waverly tuners. 1 replaced pot, and is now fitted with speed knobs, but does come with 1 of the originals. Comes with the original case, however the case has certainly seen better days and I would not recommend using it for travel.
