Used Fender 1966-1967 Electric XII 12 string
Originally designed by Leo Fender in 1965, the Fender Electric XII was aimed directly at the booming folk scene. It was the electric guitar industries first ever specific 12-string model. The other models on the market were simply 12 string versions of existing 6 string models. In total Leo-fashion, he decided to do something completely different. Lucky for us, Leo had worked on enough guitars to know what this dynamic new instrument was going to need. Each of the 12 strings has its own saddle, which makes fine tuning the intonation not only a reality but easy and accurate. Add to that a 4-way rotary switch offers some great versatility in pickup selection that can go from dark and moody to bright and jangly and you’re ready to go! Master Volume and Master Tone round out the controls. This guitar is in incredible condition and comes with the original hardshell case. Though, at some point, the “F” fell off of the case. With the “F” off, the chrome branding simply reads “ender” but it looks great and does the job of protecting the guitar quite well! Please call or email with any questions. We’re here to help!
